"I Started the online quality tech program to get my foot in the door with automotive companies .. I later found out that it can be used in any company for just about any job title..
Not being involved in quality tech prior, this was a challenge for me but a fun one. It had me thinking outside the box while figuring out how the box can work efficiently, how it is assembled. I appreciate Mr.Louis for the opportunity. As my teacher he took the time out to not only offer help but actually help. He made sure you get the information and that you understand it and can demonstrate how it is applied to all things as simple as baking a pie.

Now I work with the engineers. When they need to make a engineering change on a vehicle, I update the the product, process or system change in the system and get it ready for start of production . I am responsible for the identification, validation, and research of new products from conception to launch.

The Nexus Quality System Basics program has helped me improve my knowledge of Quality Management Systems. Everything from my problem-solving abilities, knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949:2016, to my attention to detail has dramatically improved.
The hands on experience I received with conducting product, process, and system audits were extremely beneficial. The quality tools that are in the program helped me learn and grow. This program assisted me with honing my skills, which has landed me a career position at a well- rounded manufacturing facility as a Quality Technician.
